Anglia Cancer Network is supporting the national bowel cancer awareness campaign. The campaign's key message is that if you've had blood in your poo or looser poo for three weeks, your doctor wants to know.
Chances are it's nothing to worry about, but these symptoms could be signs of bowel cancer, so tell your doctor. Finding bowel cancer early makes it more treatable and could save your life. Further details www.nhs.uk/bowelcancer
Around 100 people from cancer groups across Anglia attended the first-ever "Learn and Share" event to help support their work. Delegates from cancer self-help and support groups, hospital volunteers, hospices and health care professionals all joined forces to share their ideas and take part in workshops.
The event at Newmarket Racecourse was co-hosted by the Anglia Cancer Network and Macmillan Cancer Support. Although there is a national conference of self-help and support groups there has never been a regional event before.
